Week 8: Detroit Lions v.s. Kansas City Cheifs
Wembley Stadium – London, England
Similar to the 2014 season, the Lions will head over seas to Wembley Stadium in London, England prior to the teams bye week at the midway point in the season.
Last year, Detroit battled back to beat the Atlanta Falcons with a last second field goal behind the foot of Matt Prater, giving the team a good amount of momentum heading into their week off. The squad will look for similar results again this year when they face the Kansas City Chiefs.
Everyone remembers how good the Lions run defense was in 2014, but the departure of Ndamukong Suh and Nick Failey has raised more than a few questions as to how good the unit will be in 2015. Jamal Charles, if healthy, will certainly put them to the test.
If Detroit can leave Wembley with a win for the second consecutive year, momentum will again be on their side to start the later half of the schedule. The Lions are listed as visitors in what will actually be a neutral game — taking advantage will be key.
