Have a good typical Red Wings draft

This one is usually pretty easy for the Red Wings as a team. This organization in the past years has drafted great, they continue to do so. Having a good draft for them is important. They can get great young talent that will become great NHL players through the system that the Red Wings always tend to run. They have this draft science and seem to find players other teams don’t.

In the draft they can set themselves up for the future, finding strong defencemen that will hopefully fix their defensive problem if it so happens to continue in the future. They may also hopefully find the players who could replace Henrik Zetterberg and Pavel Datsyuk when those two finally call it a career. Drafts are important to any team in the offseason whether they win the Stanley Cup or come in last place. A good draft could help you have a good team in the future.

This off-season will be an interesting one for the Red Wings to say the least. Here is to hoping that the team can make the off-season count and keep up with the rest of the NHL in typical Red Wings fashion.
