Craig Berube

I put Mr. Berube in here because while like Eakins he has very little to show for his time as a head coach he has something I want. That being he was an enforcer when he was a player and he could maybe make this Red Wings team a little tougher in their style of play. It wouldn’t be making the Red Wings into a team like the Philadelphia Flyers because those teams he coached were just reckless and their own worst enemies.

Yet maybe he could push this team in a way Babcock hasn’t in the past few season. He could bring in a different playing style and maybe have the Red Wings being able to knock around with some teams like the New York Rangers, Flyers and Washington Capitals. He went 75-58-28 while with the Flyers before he was fired last April.
