Michael Frolik
Age: 27
Position: RW
Previous team: Winnipeg Jets

Probably the most physical player on this list Michael Frolik has spent time with the Chicago Blackhawks and the new kids on the block, the Winnipeg Jets. Just playing for those two teams would make me want the Red Wings to look into this kid. He is only 27 years old and has already won a Stanley Cup while playing with the Blackhawks in 2012. He is like a seasoned veteran at the age of 27 and that is something you don’t get out of most 27 year-olds.

He isn’t putting up huge numbers, yet the last two seasons have been productive for the winger. In the 2013-14 season Frolik accumulated 42 points on 15 goals and 27 assists in 82 games. Last season he amounted the same amount of points with similar numbers again in goals, 19, and assists, 23. He is an offensive guy who is also willing to throw his body around.

He stays healthy as well which is always a big factor when you are looking to sign a free agent. He has managed to stay healthy and play in at least 70 games in all but one season since he has been playing in the NHL.
