Detroit Red Wings: 5 Great Goals of 2014-15 Season
The captain Henrik Zetterberg has always been a personal favorite of mine when it comes to Red Wings players. He was my favorite player growing up watching hockey and watching him win a Stanley Cup with the team in 2008 was this super cool thing to my 13-year-old self. Zetterberg always seems to come through when the team needs him and that is what he did in this 1-0 OT win against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Like Montreal, when the Red Wings beat Toronto it is just a sweeter win than most wins against any other team. Being a hater of our original six rivals, I take a win over them like a win that got us into the playoffs or like a win that won us the Stanley Cup. These wins just mean a little more than others.
