I honestly don’t think this list has put any importance on order. Just because a goal is number 2 and another is number 4 means really nothing. However, this remarkable goal in a 3-2 OT win over the Ottawa Senators by Gustav Nyquist has got to be the best goal scored by the Red Wings all season. You just have to watch this goal to truly appreciate it.

The control Nyquist has with the puck, his ability to keep it on his stick for so long and then score the game winner is just unbelievable. This goal was so amazing that it is up for play of the year on TSN.com right now. You can go vote for Nyquist here and can vote as much as you would like to. He is up against Montreal goaltender Carey Price, him getting to the next round would be something else.
