MLB Draft: Detroit Tigers Names to Watch in the First Round

The first round of the 2015 MLB Draft begins tonight at 7 p.m. on MLB Network and MLB.com. The Detroit Tigers will be making their first selection in the final third of the first round at pick number 22 overall.
The Detroit Tigers have come to wear the stereotype of selecting high-upside power arms early in the draft, but they’ve broken from this mold at times in the past. Their first round selection last summer was speedy high school center fielder Derek Hill, so they’re certainly willing to go with a position player if the right name falls to them.
Here are some names to look out for as you watch players come off the board in anticipation of the Tigers’ first round pick:
