With less than three weeks until the 2015 NBA Draft, this week’s NBA mock draft takes a look at how things might play out.

Apr 4, 2015; Indianapolis, IN, USA; Kentucky Wildcats forward Karl-Anthony Towns (12) dunks during the second half of the 2015 NCAA Men

1. Minnesota Timberwolves

86. A versatile big man with the ability to play right away but also possessing a ton of potential hits every box on the checklist of what a team wants at the top of the draft.. Power Forward. Kentucky. Karl-Anthony Towns. 1. player

2. Los Angeles Lakers

Jahlil Okafor. 2. player. 20. For all intents and purposes, the Lakers pick is really made by the Timberwolves. If Minnesota takes Towns, the Lakers take Okafor. If Minnesota takes Okafor, Towns is LA bound.. Center. Duke

3. Philadelphia 76ers

Ohio State. D'Angelo Russell. 3. player. 93. The 76ers have intested in their frontcourt early in the last two drafts so they should feel comfortable having the third pick in the draft with two big men going first and second. That gives the 76ers their pick of the non-bigs, with D’Angelo Russell the pick here.. Shooting Guard

4. New York Knicks

Latvia. Kristaps Porzingis. 4. player. 27. The Knicks will likely hope the 76ers pass up on Russell as they could use a scorer like him. Mudiay has been a popular pick and while he very well could be the pick, going with Porzingis gives the Knicks more offensive upside.. Power Forward

5. Orlando Magic

38. The Magic need to add some offensive firepower to their lineup and get one of the draft’s best outside shooters with Hezonja.. Shooting Guard. Croatia. Mario Hezonja. 5. player
