If you’re looking for a big body that will be useful in front of the net and push people around, Cody Franson is your man. He won’t score you a lot of goals, but he will get your big scorers the puck at times and help with his assists. In the last three seasons Franson has netted 29, 28, and 25 assist.

It would be interesting to see what this 27 year-old could do if  he was on a team that wasn’t the Toronto Maple Leafs or the Nashville Predators. He is a big body and a right handed shot, he like Del Zotto might go for a little more money, but maybe he could be talked down a bit if he is given more years which it is reported he is looking for.
