Adam McQuaid is not going to score you a lot of points. In fact, he hasn’t scored double digit points since his 2011-12 season when he scored 10 points. However, there are some other things that McQuaid is much better at that make him an interesting free agent.

McQuaid can be a great bruiser and push people around for your team. His ability to crush people is where his value is on the ice. That and he is also not going to cost you an arm and a leg to have on your team. Again, another right handed shot, he is also only 27 and will turn 28 this season. He logs a lot of ice time and it wouldn’t hurt to look at him.
