The Detroit Red Wings are picking 19th in the 2015 NHL Draft this year and as a team they need to be looking for some help on defense. However, they also just need to pick up good players who will help them in the future. This group of players won’t have names like Connor McDavid and Jack Eichel, those guys won’t be around when the Red Wings are on the clock.

I’ve picked players from the NHL Prospect pool that consists of North American skaters and European skaters. I also made the choice to not include the top five players in both of those groups since like mentioned before, they more than likely won’t be there at 19. I also didn’t include goaltenders just because usually they don’t go first round and the team isn’t in need of one.

So let’s take a look at who the Red Wings should consider at 19th.
