6. New Jersey Devils

6. player. 85. The top European prospect Mikko Rantaten is a highly skilled play maker. He has a physical style of play and can help create offense for you. He skates smooth and has great puck control. For a team that is in need of a forward, that especially in the right wing department, Rantaten would be a great pick for the Devils at number six.. Right Wing. TPS (SM Liiga). Mikko Rantanen

7. Philadelphia Flyers

Kingston (OHL). Lawson Crouse. 7. player. 68. This was a toss up between do they take a defenseman, which the Flyers need or a forward, which, they also need. Lawson Crouse seemed like the better path to take due in part to him being the best available at the their pick. Crouse is a highly talented left wing who last season netted 29 goals and 22 assists for the Kingston Frontenacs of the OHL. He is great on his skates, a big body that you would want on your team. He sees the ice well and is a pick the Flyers would be crazy to pass on at 7.. Left Wing

8. Columbus Blue Jackets

9. San Jose Sharks

player. 120. The San Jose Sharks are in need of scoring from their forwards group. Pavel Zacha is a terrific fit for them at the number nine spot. Central Scouting’s Chris Edwards says of Zacha; “He’s got high-end skill and is an excellent competitor; he plays an excellent two-way game. He’s physical and solid on his skates and can separate guys from the puck.” For Sarnia this past season he had a nice mix of goals, 16 and assists, 18. He played on the Czech World Junior team in December and while the team was knocked out early, he registered an assist and a goal in the teams five games.. Center. Sarnia (OHL). Pavel Zacha. 9

10. Colorado Avalanche

10. player. 103. This was a tough one because I wasn’t sure if the Avalanche needed someone on defense or a forward. The two editors had the same issue at <a href=. Defense. Brandon (WHL). Ivan Provorov
