It’s hard not to immediately think of the Fab 5 when thinking about Michigan basketball. While they may have been a highly touted group and the best five-player unit Michigan basketball has ever put on the floor, not all had NBA success and there are certainly players from other Michigan basketball teams who went on to productive NBA careers.
So keep in mind that this list does not rank the greatest players in Michigan basketball history. This is about what happened after these basketball players left Michigan and heard their name called in the NBA Draft.
While the list focuses on the NBA career of each player, it should serve as a walk down memory lane for the Michigan basketball as it features players recent and not so recent, active and retired, living and deceased.
