20 Best NBA Draft Picks in Michigan Wolverines History
By Zac Snyder
For much of the mid-90s, Loy Vaught was a double-double machine as he became one of the league’s most consistent power forwards. Vaught’s scoring averaged peaked at 17.5 points per game for the 1994-95 season while his best rebounding year came the next season when he averaged 10.1 boards per game.
Injuries started to set in during the 1997-98 season in what would be his last as a Clipper. Vaught appeared in 80 games over the course of two seasons with the Pistons, then played in 51 in his final NBA season split between the Dallas Mavericks and Washington Wizards.
Vaught played in 689 career games, finishing with averages of 10.1 points and 7.1 rebounds per game.
