Detroit Tigers: Ranking the Fourth of July Stars and Stripes Caps

2015 marks the eighth year that Major League Baseball and New Era have produced a special ‘Stars and Stripes’ cap for teams to wear on Independence Day.

Some designs have worked well, and others haven’t (red caps paired with the Tigers’ uniform, for example), but it is at least a nice idea and a fun way to honor our great country while raising money to support service men and women returning from overseas.
What follows is a lighthearted look at the designs of the Detroit Tigers‘ version of the cap over the years with a particularly keen eye toward high fashion and design. Now on to the rankings!
