For 2010, MLB stayed with the same logo idea as 2009 (and 2008), but went with a white background and a blue brim. This version fits much better into the Tigers’ natural color scheme, but this hat goes to far toward plain for me.
It is better as a game cap than the all-red version, but the blue stitching outlining the logo gets muddled with the blue in the stars and stripes and we lose some definition in the logo.
