Right Tackle
There hasn’t been a lot of talk about the battle going on at right tackle for the Lions. Maybe that is because of the presumption that LaAdrian Waddle will get back his starting job once he is fully cleared from his ACL injury.
With Waddle out, Cornelius Lucas and Michael Williams have been given the opportunity to make a good impression. Lucas has also gotten some work as the backup left tackle behind Riley Reiff, leaving some first team reps for Williams.
How Lucas and Williams perform will be important to watch because at the very least, it will say something about the Lions depth on the offensive line. At the most, it could be a battle to become the Lions’ starting right tackle.
