Home vs. Miami Heat

Date: April 12, 2016

The Pistons regular season ends in Cleveland on April 13th but they play their home finale a day earlier – yes, the front-end of another back-to-back. Ideally, the Pistons will be able to thank the fans for a great regular season with the guarantee of home playoff games already secured, or maybe this is the game in which they can lock in their spot in the playoffs.

The Heat finished just a game out of a playoff spot a year ago so they will be looking for a return to the playoffs. In an improving Eastern Conference, there may not be room for both the Pistons and Heat to get into the playoffs after missing out last year.

If the Pistons aren’t comfortably in (or out of) the playoffs by this point of the season, the regular season home-finale against the Heat will loom large.
