Guys To Target

I really like Brandin Cooks. I think New Orleans will make sure he gets the ball over and over. I’ve locked Cooks up as early as the 4th round in a 12 man league. Don’t expect him to put up numbers like Antonio Brown did last year, but I think the Saints will see 100+ targets and step up as the top option for Drew Brees next season. WR 2 in deep leagues otherwise he’s a borderline WR2.

Davante Adams is a player who I’m seeing stepping up this year with the Jordy Nelson ripple affect in place for Fantasy. He’s a Flex option this year but could have WR2 potential. Any wide receiver with Rodgers as their quarterback has real potential for that matter.

Aug 14, 2015; Oakland, CA, USA; Oakland Raiders running back

Latavius Murray

Latavius Murray might secretly be DeMarco’s brother. The guy’s built like a horse and I think he’ll be a bell cow for Oakland, whatever that’s worth. I see 1000 yards 7 TD’s rushing as a realistic projection for Latavius in 2015 and you can consider him a flex option/RB2 in deep leagues.

In TD heavy leagues, Mark Ingram is a running back to target. He’s a guy you can get in rounds 4-6 and is a good bet to be a solid RB2.

The feature back in Cleveland should already be Isaiah Crowell, but for whatever reason the Browns don’t. I think Crowell will play his way into a feature role next year, but for me the question isn’t “if” it’s “when”. I think he’s an overlooked Flex with RB2 potential.

Greg Olsen should have a huge year at Tight End, especially with the Panthers top WR Kelvin Benjamin out with the ACL tear. I think he’s worth taking as the third TE. I see him easily reaching 1000 yards receiving and 8 touchdowns.

Travis Kelce should also step up his production after KC limited his snaps a bit last year. Kelce unleashed may lead to him being in the conversation of top TE. He still is a riskier TE option than Olsen, Jimmy Graham, and Gronk.

For QB’s I see Andrew Luck as the #1 overall over Aaron Rodgers. I think Luck has more talent and weapons than ever as this may be one of the best seasons in the career of the future Hall-of-Famer. Personally anything after the mid second is ok to look at taking him.

I actually like Eli Manning as a value starter. You can easily pick him up as the 10th overall QB but he could easily have a to 5 seasons if he found a way to lower his INT total.

If T.Y. Hilton is available toward the end of the 2nd round he’s worth taking a look at as Andrew Luck’s #1 option.
