NFL Daily Fantasy Picks Week Two
Daily Fantasy Picks: QUARTERBACK
Drew Brees ($8900) Saints vs Tampa Bay – The Bucs “defense” just made Marcus Mariotta look like the second coming of Dan Marino last Sunday and now get a road game in New Orleans. Brees at home throughout his career has been markedly better averaging over 280 yard passing along with throwing nearly 100 touchdown passes the past 4 seasons. I know his price on Fanduel is up there this week, but I don’t see any way that Tampa Bay will be able to slow him down. He is a near lock for 300+ passing yards along with a few TD’s.
Carson Palmer ($7800) Cardinals @ Chicago – Having last season cut short by a second ACL tear, Palmer made his return to the field last week and looked like the Palmer of old. He was 19-32 for 307 yards to go along with 3 touchdowns and no interceptions. Da Bears were 30th in the NFL vs. the pass last season and looked no better in week one. Palmer will also be without RB Andre Ellington for this one meaning he may air it out a few more times. Look for Palmer to easily eclipse the 300 yard mark again this Sunday. I don’t see the former CJ2K being anything more than CJ600 this season either and most likely won’t get the rock in the red zone.
Sam Bradford ($7500) Eagles vs Dallas – As you scroll down the list of QB’s you will notice that there are 16 other ones listed before you hit Sam Bradford. Bradford was a let down in week one as the high-powered Philly offense looked atrocious in the first half. Bradford still finished that game with 336 passing yards on 52 attempts. Any QB throwing over 50 passes in a Chip Kelly offense has to be on your fantasy radar especially one that is priced so far down the list. Dallas was vulnerable versus the pass last season as an added bonus and often plays themselves into shootouts. Bradford has a chance to return top five value this weekend at a very reasonable prices.
Others I Like – Tyrod Taylor ($6300), Ryan Tannehill ($8000), Kirk Cousins ($5700)
