Daily Fantasy Picks: WIDE RECEIVER

Jordan Matthews ($7000) Eagles vs Dallas – Matthews had a strong debut this season catching 10 balls for 102 yards and just missed punching one in for a score. As mentioned above, the Eagles are going to continue to chuck it and Matthews is going to continue to see a number of targets week in and week out. His price jumped up a little bit this week, but still has a chance to produce a huge return on his relatively cheap price tag. Matthews should continue to fly this week with another 10 catches and a touchdown this time.

Sep 13, 2015; Glendale, AZ, USA; New Orleans Saints wide receiver

Brandon Coleman

Brandon Coleman ($5000) Saints vs Tampa Bay – If the Saints are going to continue to amass 300+ passing yards a game it will need to go to someone other than Brandin Cooks.  Cooks will be popular this week no doubt and for good reason, but Coleman looks like the guy that is emerging as the primary red zone threat for Drew Brees filling the shoes of what was Jimmy Graham. Here is a guy that stands 6’6″ in a pass happy offense playing against a hapless defense that is priced at 5K. If you are going to spend money at QB and RB you will need to save somewhere, here is a good place to start.

Jarvis Landry ($7100) Dolphins @ Jacksonville – This pick fills two things I like to look out for early in the season, a horrible opponent and an offense that was quiet the week before. The Jaguars are bad, there is no doubt about that.  The Dolphins looked like they decided to sleepwalk through a half of football before showing a little life in the second half and beating the Skins. This is a talented offense and one that should put up solid numbers this Sunday. Tannehill and Landry have a good connection going back to last season as Landry has caught at least 5 balls in 10 straight games. He gives you that added punt return home run potential to top it off at a solid value price.

Others I Like – Brandin Cooks ($7400), Terrence Williams ($6300), Pierre Garcon ($5400)
