RUNNING BACK

Karlos Williams ($6300) Giants @ Bills – Remember earlier when we talked about running backs getting a heavy workload in good matchups? Williams certainly fits this criteria and has a chance to be this week’s Devonta Freeman. The Giants have allowed the 8th most points to RB’s through three weeks and LeSean McCoy looks like a near lock to miss this game. Check and check. Williams is looking like a safe bet for at least 20 touches this Sunday. Even in a backup role this season he has found paydirt in each game and also broke 100 yards last week on only 12 carries. Lock and load Williams and move on, don’t overthink it.

Latavius Murray ($7500) Raiders @ Bears – I am going back to the well on this one and throwing Murray in here on back to back weeks. He held up his end of the bargain last week toting the rock 26 times for a buck thirty nine. We have already discussed the Bears as being a less than intimidating defense that has shown little resistance so far this season. I love the Raiders in this one and I expect them to put up plenty of points Sunday be it through the air or on the ground. Either way, expect Murray to be right in the middle of it with another 25+ touches and a couple more scores.

Matt Forte ($8300) Raiders @ Bears – If you were able to witness any of last Sunday’s debacle in Seattle I wouldn’t blame you one bit if you jumped ship completely from that pathetic Chicago Bears offense. Recency bias tells me that many fantasy owners aren’t going to invest their salary in Forte this week which provides you a golden opportunity to cash in. The Raiders defense is certainly not what the Seahawks defense is and the Bears can’t possibly be any worse than they were Sunday. Forte was still able to put up 76 yards on 20 carries but amazingly did not catch a single pass. Something tells me that Mr. Jimmy Clausen will be reminded during this week that Forte caught 102 passes last season and he may want to utilize that. His price is up there a bit but I see him being used as much as possible this weekend.

Others I Like – Eddie Lacy ($7800), Melvin Gordon ($6800), Devonta Freeman ($7200)
