TIGHT END

Jordan Reed ($5600) Eagles @ Redskins – Reed continues to quietly be an excellent safety net for QB Kirk Cousins. Reed has caught at least 6 balls in all three games and for his bargain bin price has been in double digit fantasy points in all three as well. There is no Gronkowski this week (bye week) to spend on, lock Reed in as a cheaper play and use that extra savings elsewhere. Philadelphia is in the top 5 defending the TE so far this season, but I think Reed continues his streak of catching at least 6 passes as the Eagles have struggle defending wideouts and Reed is often split out wide in many of the Skins sets.

Martellus Bennett ($5500) Raiders @ Bears – The Raiders are actually dead last defending the TE this season. I almost am sounding like a Jimmy Clausen supporter for this week. Don’t get me wrong, Clausen is a bad NFL QB. However, I will defend this pick by stating again that the Raiders defense is nothing like the Seahawks and the Bears most likely have scared almost everyone off them for this week. Bennett still caught 4 balls last Sunday and is looking like a fairly consistent option week in and week out. Since Oakland struggles vs the TE anyway, I could easily see Bennett finding the end zone and putting up a nice solid day.

Others I Like – Greg Olsen ($6300), Jimmy Graham ($6600)
