Week 5 is upon us and the Lions are still looking for their first win. Your season long fantasy team might have already checked out with injuries and bad performance. The beautiful thing about playing daily fantasy with the NFL is that you get a chance to redraft and fix those mistakes you made in the preseason every single week.

If you are anything like me, I always feel after the draft that my team is the best and that I am going to dominate my season long league. Reality sets in relatively quickly each season as I know I have plenty of work to do to keep up with the ever changing landscape. Daily has given me that same feeling of confidence going into each Sunday slate of games. Hopefully this column is able to help you each week as we all “re-draft” the next great team of the week.

A quick review of last week’s picks showed some really good selections (Matt Forte, Martellus Bennett, Karlos Williams, James Jones) and a few misses (Derek Carr, Latavius Murray). Interestingly enough the fact that the Raiders were dead last against the TE came true with Bennett’s huge game. Karlos Williams took advantage of his opportunity in a lead role scoring points with quantity over quality as he was mostly ineffective but caught enough passes and scored a late TD to turn in a decent day. I have been digging through the numbers to hopefully give you a jump start on your research.
