RUNNING BACK

Le’Veon Bell ($9000) Steelers @ Chargers – The Chargers have followed the same script that they did last season. They currently are ranked #1 in the entire league defending the WR. Not coincidentally they are in the top 10 for least amount of fantasy points allowed to QB’s. Here is the kicker, they continue to get gashed on the ground and are 31st in fantasy points allowed to running back’s. Bell at least has an argument for being the NFL’s best overall running back and has doing nothing to dispel that notion amassing 191 yards rushing with 2 touchdown’s and another 14 catches in his two games this season. Any site that awards points for receptions increases his value even more as he is always a threat to catch 5 or more passes. With Michael Vick playing quarterback right now the Steelers will lean heavily on Bell for production. I don’t see any way that the Chargers are able to keep Bell out of the end zone this weekend and he should continue to score 20+ points week in and week out.

Dion Lewis ($6900) Patriots @ Cowboys – Many are going to jump off the Lewis bandwagon due to LeGarette Blount scoring three garbage time touchdown’s the last time this Patriot offense was on the field. The truth is, Bill Belichick is notorious for playing games with his running backs and how they are used. Blount’s three TD’s last game were all in the second half of a blowout. Lewis is still handling all of the early down snaps as well as being utilized as a receiver out of the backfield. The Cowboys also happen to rank 30th among all NFL teams in points allowed to RB’s. This is a great match up for Lewis and I believe he will be very under owned this week coming off of a bye week.

Justin Forsett ($7200) Ravens vs. Browns – Forsett finally broke out of a mini slump last weekend with a 150 yard day against the Steelers. He didn’t find the end zone or catch a pass so the 150 yards ended as a 15 point fantasy day which will keep him a little under the radar this week. Prior to the game against the Steelers, he had caught 4 passes in each of their prior three games. Taking on a pathetic Cleveland Brown run defense makes this play even easier as Forsett is working almost exclusively as the Ravens lead back. If he gets another 25 touches this weekend, you can bet he will find the end zone and turn in a 25+ point day.

Others I Like – Jamaal Charles ($9100), Matt Forte ($8400), Todd Gurley ($6700)
