TIGHT END

Rob Gronkowski ($8400) Patriots @ Cowboys – As you can tell, I am a pretty big fan of the Patriots offense this weekend coming off their bye week. The Cowboys have been tough guarding the TE early this season, but Gronk is no ordinary human being. It goes without saying that every single week he is basically the top TE option and its not close. If you are able to find a few value plays at other positions, pay up for Gronk and watch the Patriots continue their aerial assault on the NFL. Gronk should find the end zone this weekend and continue to be a big part of their early season dominance.

Owen Daniels ($4900) Broncos @ Raiders – I went into detail last week about how sometimes a certain team is just not able to contain a certain position. The Raiders certainly qualify as they have provided absolutely no way to slow down opposing tight ends this season. Peyton Manning has always liked to target his tight end especially near the end zone and Daniels has found pay dirt in back to back weeks. He really hasn’t had a great season in regards to receptions in yards, but at his price he is basically a free space on FanDuel. Will the Raiders find that magic formula to slow a TE down this season? It’s not looking likely, play Daniels if you are going cheap at tight end.
