QUARTERBACK

Eli Manning ($7800) Giants @ Eagles – The “other” Manning seems to go through stretches of being unnoticed in the fantasy game. Eli is coming off a monster game against the 49ers that had him pile up 441 passing yards and nearly 30 FanDuel points. He will be taking on the Eagles in Philly Monday night in what has all the makings of a shootout. The Eagles have given up fantasy points to the QB position fairly easily and have been even worse against wide receivers. The Giants have struggled to really put anything consistent together on the ground, so Eli has a great chance to fling it as he has thrown at least 32 passes in every game and threw a whopping 54 times last week. Eli should be able to eclipse the 300 yards mark and easily pay off his still relatively cheap salary.

Teddy Bridgewater ($6600) Vikings vs Chiefs – This one might make you scratch your head a little bit as Teddy has really been quiet so far this season. He has a few things working in his favor for this week’s game. The first is that the Kansas City Chiefs have allowed the most points to the quarterback position so far this season. Second, he is coming off a 269 performance against one of the better defenses in all of football. He still possess the ability to score you points with his feet and the Vikings are coming off a bye week in which the coaching staff has been vocal about getting their wide receivers more involved. This is setting up to be a sneaky spot to deploy Bridgewater and a 20 point day is not out of the question. Throw in the fact that he is very likely to be low owned and he is a perfect tournament play.

Tom Brady ($9000) Patriots @ Colts – Narrative street is running rampant this weekend and I know this pick is certainly not going out on a limb. If you don’t think that the Patriots and Bill Belichick have a point they would like to make at Indianapolis this week you probably don’t follow football enough to be successful at fantasy. This is the exact spot that “Deflategate” was born last season in the AFC Championship game. Yes, Brady is the most expensive quarterback option on the board. I don’t think his price means a thing this week as they are looking to go pass happy with fully inflated footballs. I should mention that the Colts are also a bottom 10 team against the pass which only fuels the opportunity for Brady to blow up Sunday. If you are playing in a cash game, he is the perfect play. For tournaments, he certainly has enough upside to easily pay off his big salary.

Others I Like – Carson Palmer ($8000), Andy Dalton ($7600), Matthew Stafford ($6900)
