TIGHT END

Antonio Gates ($5800) Raiders vs. Chargers – The old “play a TE vs. the Raiders” strategy is in full effect this weekend again as they continue to struggle defending opposing TE’s. The Raiders did not allow a catch to Owen Daniels two weeks ago and still sit in the pole position for points allowed to the TE position. Gates has come on strong after serving a 4 game suspension looking quicker and leaner than he did last season. Phillip Rivers trusts him and continues to air it out at an elite level. Gates should be able to find pay dirt in this match up and is still cheap across the board.

Jason Witten ($5600) Cowboys @ Giants – Witten has become a bit of a forgotten man as the struggles of the Cowboys offense under Brandon Weeden has pulled him under with them. Coming off their bye week, the Cowboys will turn to Matt Cassel under center to hopefully stabilize their offensive production. Cassel is a veteran quarterback that understands how to use the check down when needed and will rely heavily on Witten to be his safety valve. Coming off a bye week and a few weeks of little production, Witten stands to be a sneaky play this week at a cheap price tag.

Others I Like – Travis Kelce ($6000), Gary Barnidge ($5900)
