We are now at the point in the NFL season that these articles start to write themselves and the amount of data at my disposal is more reliable with a greater sample size. What this is supposed to mean is that daily fantasy has now reached the “easy” point in the season. Of course I am joking and its never truly easy building that perfect roster.

We do however have the advantage of getting clearer picture of defenses that you will want to target your skill players against. The games still need to be played and players still need to perform, but the data is easier to sift through now than it is after two or three weeks.

A quick look back at my picks for week 7 which was highlighted by a number of really solid picks. Todd Gurley was highly owned in nearly every format and had a dream match up that he took full advantage of. Some people have the tendency to want to zig while other people zag, in the case of Gurley last Sunday that ended up being a big mistake.

The Carson Palmer to John Brown combination rewarded owners with a touchdown and a solid game from both players. Ryan Fitzpatrick provided solid value and did what was expected for his price tag.

Latavius Murray and Martavis Bryant both found pay dirt and all in all most every player that I highlighted had a pretty solid Sunday. Antonio Gates did not suit up but in accordance to the fantasy football gods, Ladarius Green torched the Raiders and proved once again the value in defense versus position rankings.

I have dug through all the numbers and hopefully can provide you some insight into what looks good on paper this week.

DISCLAIMER – Salary cap numbers are based on FanDuel’s pricing for this week and do NOT include the game being played in London (Kansas City vs. Detroit).

On to the picks!
