RUNNING BACK

Justin Forsett ($6900) Ravens vs. Chargers – If you have been reading my columns the last couple weeks you know that I love targeting running back’s going up against the very weak front line of the San Diego Chargers. Forsett gets the privilege of taking on this group and comes into this one on a bit of a roll with four straight double digit efforts. The Chargers currently are giving up the most points to running backs this season and its not close. Until they can prove me otherwise I will continue to target backs against them. Forsett has received more work in the red zone the past three games and has responded with touchdowns in two of them. He also adds the element of catching the ball out of the backfield and can get you a few extra points there. This match up is just a little too good for Forsett and his price won’t break the bank.

Chris Johnson ($7300) Cardinals @ Browns – CJ2K has been one of the more pleasant surprises in the NFL this season as he his career was seemingly over prior to this season. The Cardinals took a chance on him and he has been nothing short of a revelation. The Browns have amazingly given up a 100 yard game to a running back in every game this season and we all just saw what Todd Gurley did to them. Cleveland has been about middle of the pack against the pass which just means Arizona may put together a run heavy attack and continue to exploit their front line. Johnson’s price has risen up the past few weeks but he still can provide great value in this game.

Marshawn Lynch ($8300) Seahawks @ Cowboys – Beast Mode really hasn’t gotten off to a great start this year but was battling through a hamstring injury for the better part of the first month. Last week we saw him go over 100 yards and he also has back to back games with a score. The Cowboys run defense continues to slide down the rankings and are currently in the bottom five in the league against the run. It appears that Lynch is starting to get over his early season injury and he should be able to put up another 100 yard day this Sunday.

Others I Like – Todd Gurley ($8100), LeVeon Bell ($8900), Mark Ingram ($8000)
