RUNNING BACK

Devonta Freeman ($8900) Falcons @ 49ers – Freeman has established himself basically out of nowhere as one of the elite running backs so far this season. Following an amazing streak of 29 points or better in four straight games, Freeman has been a little quieter the past two games meaning his ownership level will likely be down. The 49ers once touch defense is no longer as they have been really bad against the run this entire season. I am seeing Freeman with a multiple touchdown day and the top RB on the slate this week.

DeMarco Murray ($7500) Eagles @ Cowboys – Every once and a while the narrative street “revenge” game can pull a little weight in daily fantasy. If you don’t think Murray will be extra motivated this Sunday then you can ignore this pick. However, the Cowboys have currently given up the 4th most points to the running back position this season and will be facing a back that certainly wants to prove something to his former teammates. The Eagles are also coming off a bye and have hinted at finding new ways to get Murray more involved. His price is still relatively low and makes for an excellent play this weekend that could surprise many people.

Ronnie Hillman ($6400) Broncos @ Colts – Denver made the switch to using Hillman as their primary running back last week and he rewarded many smart owners with a two touchdown day that could have been even better. Like most players that spend the majority of the season as a backup and are pushed into a starting role, Hillman’s price is still crazy low for a guy with his upside in this game. The Colts defense is nothing to worry about and they have struggled containing a number of running backs this season. Play Hillman as a cheap value play with major upside.

Others I Like – Mark Ingram ($7700), Chris Ivory ($7500), Jeremy Langford ($6400)
