Pistons: Reasons to Believe in Hot Start to the Season

The Detroit Pistons are off to a great start at 5-1. There are plenty of reasons to believe this team is for real and can contend in the Eastern Conference.

At 5-1, the Detroit Pistons have been one of the NBA’s biggest pleasant surprises. Vegas set modest win totals for the team in taking over/under bets before the season but the team has made those who took the over look smart in the early going.
Six games isn’t a lot to judge a team on, but the Pistons’ improvement over a year ago is evident and there is reason to believe the success they’ve enjoyed so far is more than fleeting.
