20 Best NBA Draft Picks from Michigan State
By Zac Snyder
Scott Skiles isn’t one of the best scorers to come out of Michigan State, but he is one of the best shooters. His career three-point shooting percentage of 37.9% is just a hair better than Morris Peterson, and Skiles got it done from the free throw line at an 88.9% clip for his NBA career.
Skiles was a great shooter but was also a good distributor of the basketball. He averaged 6.5 assists per game for his career and still holds the NBA record for most assists in a game with 30 – a record that has stood since he set it in 1990.
