The Detroit Lions look to not only make it three straight wins on Thanksgiving Day but also to run their current win streak to three games. The recipe to do so today against the Philadelphia Eagles will be the same as it has been the last two weeks in beating the Green Bay Packers and Oakland Raiders. In those games, the Lions defense once again looked like one of the league’s best, as they were a season ago.
Another solid defensive performance with some timely drives by the offense capped off with touchdowns should have the festive Ford Field crowd driving home to their Thanksgiving tables in a good mood.
