Detroit Pistons vs. Los Angeles Lakers: Game Time, TV, Radio, Live Stream

The Detroit Pistons look to extend their winning streak and get revenge for an early-season loss as the Los Angeles Lakers visit the Palace of Auburn Hills.

Winners of three straight, the Detroit Pistons will have a lot more to look forward to than just hosting a bad opponent against the Los Angeles Lakers tonight.

First and foremost on their mind will be extending their winning streak but beating the Lakers also means avenging a loss that came during the team’s disappointing end to the six game west coast road trip earlier this season. That win over the Pistons is one of just three the Lakers have this season and was the only win they had in a stretch of 12 games between the second week of November and last week.

Tonight is also going to be a special night at the Palace because it will be the final time Kobe Bryant takes the Palace floor. Love him or hate him, he has put together a career to earn him a spot in the discussion as one of the game’s greatest players of all time in an era in which individual stars shine brighter than the teams they play for.

There will be some boos for Kobe from Pistons die hards who don’t want to celebrate the career of a player who never played for their team but there will surely be a good number of cheers mixed in as well. Just what that mix turns out to be remains to be seen, but don’t be surprised if Kobe gets more cheers than boos – at least until the game starts.
