Five players Michigan football fans will want to watch at the Semper Fidelis Bowl High School All-Star Game.

The Semper Fidelis Bowl high school all-star game, will take place on Sunday, January 3rd (9:00 pm on Fox Sports One). The game will feature program commitments and targets that Michigan Football fans might want to keep an eye on. Here’s a look at some of those players.

Michigan Commitments

Ron Johnson, #22 weak-side defensive end (according to 247 composite rankings)

According to scouts, Johnson has been absolutely dominating the competition at practices this week. He has consistently been able to beat the offensive lineman in front of him, earning him a spot on the players of the day list all week. Johnson is a bit under the radar in this recruiting class but he is showing the potential to be an early contributor at Michigan.

Brad Hawkins, #53 wide receiver

Hawkins is one of several New Jersey players committed to Michigan. He is a quality wide receiver who has the ability to play corner back as well. He is still being pursued by other programs but he seems locked in on his committment to Michigan. He has been an active recruiter, working hard to get other big name players to join him next year in Ann Arbor.

Prospects on Michigan’s target list

Khaleke Hudson, #31 outside linebacker

Hudson is listed as a linebacker in the 247 composite rankings, but Michigan likes him at safety which is where he will be playing in this game. Hudson is in the mold of a hybrid linebacker/safety type playmaker who fits into a system that will allow him to play multiple roles. Hudson has seen reps at running back this week and he may see snaps on offense in this game. Michigan has told him he could have a shot at running back if he wanted it. His top four schools are: Michigan, Penn State, Pittsburgh, and UCLA.

Joel Dublanko, #12 inside linebacker

Dublanko played linebacker, at IMG academy in florida, where he also lined up at defensive end in pass rushing situations. Michigan has kept tabs on him this past fall but has yet to offer him a scholarship. Michigan only has a few spots left in this class but if they miss out on higher profile linebackers they are recruiting, expect them to offer him a scholarship. Dublanko will be visiting Ann Arbor on January 15th to meet with jim Harbaugh.

Will Fries, #43 offensive tackle, committed to Penn State

Fries committed to Penn State in June but has been keeping his options open as of late. Michgan views him as a backup plan if they miss out on Jean Delance, who is making his committment on Saturday. If Delance doesn’t choose Michgan, expect Jim Harbaugh make a hard push to flip Fries committment away from Penn State.
