With the Detroit Lions set to take on the Chicago Bears in week 17 of the 2015 NFL Season, here is all the important info you need for today’s game.
For the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears, the season ends today. Both teams have officially been out of the playoff race for a few weeks and all that is left to be determined by today’s meeting is draft order and finalizing the list of opponents on the 2016 schedule.
But there are things less tangible yet to play for on both sides. The Bears are ending year one under John Fox and look to finish strong as their rebuild continues. Ont he Lions’ sideline, Jim Caldwell will be looking for a solid finish as a final statement to make his case for a return under a new general manager next season.
