Michigan State at Penn State: Game Time, TV Schedule, Live Stream
By Matt Snyder
Michigan State travels to Penn State on Sunday afternoon. Here’s how you can watch the game on TV or via online live stream.
The Michigan State Spartans have opened up Big Ten play with a 2-1 record, and all three games have been played without team leader Denzel Valentine. The Spartans should get good news on that front today, however, as Valentine is expected to return to the floor this afternoon at Penn State.
Penn State should represent a comfortable win for Michigan State with or without Valentine, but he will benefit from getting his legs back under him after undergoing minor knee surgery in December to remove a piece of cartilage.
The team will also benefit from being re-acquainted with their leading scorer after having to play without him for these last three weeks.
And the return isn’t coming a moment too soon. The Spartans will host No. 19 Iowa on Thursday, just two short weeks after the Hawkeyes delivered the Spartans their only loss of the season (an 83-70 defeat in Iowa City).
Michigan State fans should relish the chance for a rematch at the Breslin Center with Valentine in the lineup. Whether or not he’ll be back to full form remains to be seen, however.
But for now our attention is turned to State College, Pennsylvania and a noon tip-off against the Nittany Lions.
