Michigan State Basketball vs. Iowa: Game Time, TV Schedule, Live Stream
By Matt Snyder
The Michigan State Spartans take on the No. 16 Iowa Hawkeyes on Thursday night. Here’s how you can watch the game on TV or via online live stream.
The Michigan State Spartans will look to avenge their only loss of the season when they host the Iowa Hawkeyes tonight at the Breslin Center. Iowa topped Michigan State 83-70 a little more than two weeks ago, but that game was in Iowa City and the Spartans were missing team leader Denzel Valentine.
Valentine returned to the floor in Sunday’s win over Penn State for the first time following his December knee surgery. He scored 10 points in 23 minutes of action off the bench as the Spartans cruised to a 27-point victory.
Valentine is expected to return to the starting lineup tonight against Iowa, displacing junior guard Eron Harris. The Detroit Free Press reports that Harris will continue to play a sizable role for Michigan State.
"Denzel Valentine will return to Michigan State’s starting lineup, but basketball coach Tom Izzo today promised that guard Eron Harris’ role will continue to be prominent, even with his move back to the bench."
Iowa has won both of their games since their last meeting with Michigan State. Those victories being a 70-63 road win at No. 14 Purdue and a 77-66 home win over Nebraska. The Hawkeyes (3-0) and Indiana Hoosiers (4-0) are the only two remaining undefeated teams in Big Ten Conference play.
