Michigan State takes on Maryland on Sunday afternoon. Here’s how you can watch the game on TV or via online live stream.

The No. 11 Michigan State Spartans will host the No. 7 Maryland Terrapins on Saturday evening in one of the country’s premier matchups this weekend.

Michigan State is trying to right the ship after a stretch of three consecutive losses. The latest two losses, which came at Wisconsin and home against Nebraska, were both of the one-point variety with the Spartans missing opportunities to win at the buzzer.

Michigan State has fallen to eighth place in the Big Ten standings with a 3-4 conference record. There remains plenty of time to climb back into the race, but the Spartans have to find a way to win games late if they hope to stay among the nation’s elite.

The Spartans will debut new “Nike Hyper Elite Disruption” uniforms this afternoon which features a chartreuse top and shorts that transition down from chartreuse to the traditional green. It appears as though the team will wear bright green shoes as well.

The Twitter reaction to the uniform announcement has been mostly negative with most fans failing to see the point.  I’ll reserve final judgement until I can see them in action on television, but the gold number trim looks out of place and could have easily been replaced with the traditional Spartan green color.
