Michigan State takes on Rutgers on Sunday evening. Here’s how you can watch the game on TV or online live stream.

The No. 12 Michigan State Spartans host Rutgers at the Breslin Center on Sunday evening in the first of two regular season meetings between the two schools this season.

Michigan State stands in seventh place in the Big Ten with a 5-4 conference record. They’ll need to take care of business against bottom feeders like Rutgers if they hope to make a run rejoin the top tier teams in the league.

The Spartans’ last game was a 76-45 blowout victory over the Northwestern Wildcats on the road. Ten Michigan State players found their way into the scoring column with Denzel Valentine leading the team with 19 points. Freshman Matt McQuaid chipped in 17 points off the bench.

Rutgers comes into the game with an 0-8 record in the Big Ten Conference (6-15 overall). Their last game was a 68-57 loss to Michigan on Wednesday.

Three members of the Rutgers basketball team average double-digit point totals. Freshman Corey Sanders leads the team with 14.1 points per game, junior Deshawn Freeman is next with 13.1 points per game, and sophomore Mike Williams adds 12.0 points per game.
