Jim Harbaugh is putting the final touches on his first full recruiting class. Here are my predictions on how Michigan finishes with a top five class.

We’ve all seen ” The Jim Harbaugh show” on the recruiting trial and today will be no different as Michigan has put together a “Signing of the Stars” event that is sure to keep all eyes on Ann Arbor. This event has been promoted as an Oscar’s type event where celebrity guests are introducing the incoming Michigan class.

Celebrity guests include everyone from Tom Brady and Derek Jeter to Ric Flair and Migos. While this an invitation only event, it will be live streamed at theplayerstribune.com from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm (they may extend it until 1:30 if a certain recruit’s time schedule requires).

All proceeds from this event will be donated to the ChadTough Foundation in honor of Lloyd Carr’s grandson Chad Carr, who passed away last November from an inoperable brain tumor.

As of this morning, Michigan has 25 verbal commits, seven of which have already enrolled early, and the anticipation is that they will add another four, five or even six commits throughout the day. Typical recruiting classes typically carry 25 commitments but Michigan’s class is rumored to possibly reach as high as 30.

They will be able to accommodate this because of recent scholarships opening up due to transfers and by asking some commits in this class to take a greyshirt (a student athletes who delay enrollment). Here are the names to watch.
