The Detroit Pistons have a chance to make it a three-game winning streak with a win over the Milwaukee Bucks tonight.

Less than a week ago the Detroit Pistons were on a five-game losing streak with a road game at the Cleveland Cavaliers looming. Their post-All Star break performances were looking a lot like the pre-All Star break games that sent the Pistons skidding into the break and out of playoff position in the East.

But as has come to be the defining point of this Pistons season, the roller coaster track turned upward with that game in Cleveland. The wins over the Cavs and Philadelphia 76ers in their last two games were two of the Pistons’ best performances of the season.

Consistency has been a problem all season long but the last two games have the Pistons back at the .500 mark. However, there is still work to be done to get back into a playoff spot and winning road games like tonight’s against the Milwaukee Bucks is how the Pistons will have to make it happen.

The Bucks had a five-game losing streak of their own to end January and start February but have won four of six since. The Pistons’ last visit to Milwaukee was miserable – a 109-88 loss back on November 23. That game should serve as notice what can happen if the Pistons have one of their nights where they just don’t seem to show up. At this point in the season, they can’t afford to have games like that.
