Michigan State Basketball vs. Penn State: Time, TV Schedule, Live Stream
By Matt Snyder
Michigan State takes on Penn State on Sunday afternoon. Here’s how you can watch the game on TV or via online live stream.
The Michigan State Spartans play their penultimate home game of the 2015-16 regular season this afternoon when they welcome the Penn State Nittany Lions into the Breslin Center.
Michigan State enters play on Sunday ranked sixth nationally and sitting in a tie for fourth place (with Wisconsin) in the Big Ten standings.
The Spartans have three games remaining on their regular season schedule: today’s contest with Penn State, a road game at Rutgers, and then the finale at home against Ohio State. Winning all three should prove enough to secure a top-four position in the Big Ten Tournament (the top four seeds get a double bye).
Wisconsin has a tougher road to travel to finish up their season. They host Michigan this evening before finishing up their regular season with road games at Minnesota and at No. 20 Purdue.
Michigan State could also conceivably catch (or pass) Maryland and/or Iowa who sit in a tie for second place at 11-4, one game ahead of the Spartans.

But Big Ten picture aside, Michigan State is playing for seeding in the NCAA Tournament. They’re already a lock to get in, but they have a chance to earn a spot as one of the four No. 1 seeds in the national tournament. ESPN’s Joe Lunardi had them as a No. 2 seed in his latest bracketology update, so they have some work to do to if they hope to move up.
