Detroit Pistons at Charlotte Hornets: Game Time, TV, Radio, Live Stream
By Zac Snyder
The Detroit Pistons take on the Charlotte Hornets on the road tonight in an important game between teams fighting for playoff position in the East.
A four-game road trip got off to a good start Wednesday night when the Detroit Pistons beat the Dallas Mavericks. While ever win is important as the Pistons fight for a playoff spot, tonight is especially important because they meet the Charlotte Hornets, a fellow playoff contender in the tightly packed Eastern Conference.
The Pistons currently hold down the final playoff spot in the East after the Chicago Bulls’ loss to the San Antonio Spurs last night knocked them a half game back. The Pistons have done well to hang in the playoff picture while dealing with an injury bug that set in a couple weeks ago but they will have Stanley Johnson and Anthony Tolliver back in the lineup tonight.
Their return comes at a good time as the Hornets have been one of the Eastern Conference’s best teams of late. Winners of five in a row, the Hornets are riding an extended run with 13 wins in their last 16 games. They have taken advantage of having some weaker teams on the schedule but they do have two wins over the Cleveland Cavaliers during that stretch.
