Detroit Red Wings vs. Montreal Canadiens: Game Time, TV, Radio, Live Stream
By Mike Rizzo
The Detroit Red Wings look to get back to their winning ways as they return to the Joe Louis Arena tonight. The Montreal Canadiens are in town tonight.
The Detroit Red Wings return to the Joe tonight after splitting their four game road trip. The road trip ended on a sour note on Tuesday as the Red Wings lost 6-2 to the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Jimmy Howard was pulled after giving up the third goal which gave the Lightning a 3-0 lead. Howard was not to blame for any of the goals in my opinion.
The move to Petr Mrazek seemed to light a fire into the Red Wings though as they clawed back to within one, but the Lightning quickly responded and put the game away early in the third.
Coach Blashill thought the Red Wings came out fine but gave up some free goals. The Red Wings defense really let them down against Tampa and it has to be much better tonight if the Red Wings beat Montreal.
The Montreal Canadiens come into the Joe tonight seven points out of a playoff spot. What a difference a couple months and losing Carey Price make.
The Canadiens were running away with the Atlantic Division then Price gets hurt and now the Canadiens most likely will miss the playoffs.

The Red Wings have to take advantage of the struggling Canadiens tonight. As of this writing the starting goaltender hasn’t been named but I think it’s going to be Mrazek.
