Detroit Pistons vs. Oklahoma City Thunder: Game Time, TV, Radio, Live Stream
By Zac Snyder
Their season-best five-game winning streak came to an end Saturday against the Atlanta Hawks but the Detroit Pistons look to finish the homestand strong.
It has been more than two weeks since the Detroit Pistons last played a road game and their franchise-high nine-game homestand is nearing its conclusion. The Pistons have cleaned up in those games against weaker competition but dropped both meetings with the Atlanta Hawks to sit at 5-2 for the homestand so far.
Tonight the Pistons welcome their toughest competition of the homestand to The Palace, the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder are somewhat a forgotten team after missing the playoffs last year and with the Golden State Warriors and San Antonio Spurs dominating the Western Conference. But this has been a big-time bounceback year for the Thunder as they have positioned themselves comfortably in line for the three seed in the West.
The Thunder come to town as one of the hottest teams in the NBA. Winners of eight in a row, the Thunder have back-to-back wins over the Spurs and Toronto Raptors in their last two games.
A Pistons win is of primary concern tonight but there is certainty that either the Indiana Pacers or Chicago Bulls will pick up a loss as those two teams meet in Indianapolis tonight.
