Fifth Round

I’ve been a proponent of the Lions at least adding some competition for Travis Swanson at center this offseason and news that free agent Stefen Wisniewski is signing with the Philadelphia Eagles makes it even more likely that comes through the draft.

Graham Glasgow was one of the stars during Shrine Game week and earned an invite to the Senior Bowl as a result. The reviews there weren’t quite as glowing but he can count on having Jim Harbaugh as a reference. Even if Glasgow couldn’t beat out Swanson as a rookie, he could back up both the center and guard positions.

Samford defensive backs are on the map after Jaquiski Tartt was a second-round draft pick last year. James Bradberry won’t go that high teams will like his size at 6’1″ and 211 pounds. There will be concerns about the jump in level of competition but not more than with any other prospect who did not play at the FBS level.
