The Detroit Pistons look for a better result in the second game of their Florida back-to-back when they take on the Orlando Magic tonight.
It was easy for the average sports fan in Detroit to ignore the Detroit Pistons last night. With the Pistons falling behind into a double-digit deficit in the first half, there were probably more than a few television sets in Michigan that stopped trying to flip back an forth between the basketball game and Detroit Tigers opening day.

The loss to the Miami Heat was a lost opportunity but the Pistons still saw their magic number to clinch a playoff berth fall to two with the Chicago Bulls losing to the Memphis Grizzlies.
With the Bulls inactive tonight, the Pistons can’t clinch a playoff spot, but they could before they play their next game with a win tonight combined with a Bulls loss at Miami on Thursday.
The Pistons have controlled the season series with the Magic so far, winning the first two meetings by a combined 42 points. The season series concludes tonight, although oddsmakers don’t like the Pistons to make it a sweep.
A second-straight loss in Florida wouldn’t bee a good look for a team trying to make a push for the playoffs. Here is all the important info you need for today’s game.
