Detroit Tigers vs. Pittsburgh Pirates: Series Game Times, TV Schedule, Live Stream
By Matt Snyder
The Detroit Tigers begin a four-game series with the Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday afternoon. The first two games will be played in Detroit and the second two games will be played in Pittsburgh.
The Detroit Tigers are off to a solid start to the season with a 3-1 record in four games. They played their first stinker of the year on Saturday — an 8-4 loss to the New York Yankees — but they’ll look to get the good mojo going again against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The weather is beginning to look better for baseball this week, though temperatures will remain chilly. Rain is not part of the forecast for Monday and Tuesday at Comerica Park, and temperatures are expected to rise to the mid-to-upper 40s.
Conditions in Pittsburgh later in the week look even better with sunny skies and temperatures in the low-to-mid 60s forecasted.
The Tigers are scheduled to face two left-handed pitchers in this four-game series. Look for the Tigers to stack the lineup with right-handed bats against the southpaws.
